ESAB Announces FASTRAK Contest Winners

Florence SC – ESAB Welding and Cutting products announced today the winners of its fourth Quarter 2006 FASTRAK contest. Participants submitted over 1200 entries via the internet and at tradeshows. ESAB randomly chose six regional winners in each award category – first, second and third place – totaling 18 different winners. Regions were determined by ESAB’s sales territories – Eastern, Great Lakes, Western, Southeast, Midwest and Southwest.

The six First Prize winners will each receive an ESAB FASTRAK Tech Shop. A prize valued at over $4500.00, the FASTRAK Tech shop includes one (1) Migmaster^® 250, on (1) PowerCut^® 650 and one (1) PUROX^® Metal Master DLX. The first place winners are:

• Jay McKeefry, Seymour, WI – Great Lakes Region
• Kevin McCoy, San Diego, CA – Western Region
• Fred Hawkins, Canton, GA – Southeast Region
• Todd Guidry, Duson, LA – Southwest Region
• Carl Fitzgerald, Albuquerque, NM – Midwest Region

The six Second Prize winners will receive one (1) Richard Petty Rookie Driving Experience, a prize valued at $399.00. Winners will be able to get behind the wheel of a real race car on an official NASCAR track. Additionally, they will get to choose any track that offers the program. Second Prize winners are:

• Earl Lewis, Vallejo, CA – Western Region
• Stephen Smith, Glasglow, KY – Southeast Region

• David Bastion, Wichita, KS – Midwest Region

The six Third Prize winners will receive a Richard Petty Riding Experience, valued at $99.00. A professional driver will take the winners on a ride of a lifetime. Additionally, they will get to choose any track that offers the program. Third Prize winners are:
